How we handle your information.

When you apply to join the directory, we collect the details you enter on the application form: your name, business name, category, city, tags/specialty, a short bio, your website, your contact email, and — optionally — a headshot photo. You can also choose to add a headshot after your profile is live.

To create and manage your account, we use Google Sign-In. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, your email address, and your Google profile picture. We use these only to authenticate you and to create and manage your member account. We do not access any other information from your Google account — not your contacts, calendars, files, or anything else.

We use the information you provide to:

• Create and display your public profile in the member directory.
• Manage your account and login.
• Process your membership payment, which is handled by our payment processor, ThriveCart. We do not store your payment card details ourselves — ThriveCart handles that securely on its end.
• Send you the occasional message about your account or membership when needed.

The information you submit for a directory profile — your name, business info, bio, photo, website, and links — is displayed publicly on the site as part of the member directory. That's the whole point of joining: so other locals can find and connect with you.

We use Base44 as our website and app hosting platform, and Google as our login provider. Both receive only what's needed to run the service. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it with any other third parties for marketing or advertising.

We keep your information for as long as your membership is active. You can update your profile details any time from your member dashboard.

If you'd like your profile updated or removed entirely, just ask. Email us at hello@hamptonroadscreativenetwork.com and we'll take care of it.

We use basic analytics to understand which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are coming from (city and country level). This helps us keep the site useful. We don't use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date below and do our best to let members know.
